Jardim da Estrela 3 - a photo on Flickriver

            Inaugurated in 1842, the Jardim da Estrela was commissioned by the Marques de Tomar, who had the support of private donations, and planted by gardeners Bonard and Joao Francisco. Surrounded by railings, it has five entrances and includes a belvedere and iron-wrought bandstand mounted on a masonry base (formerly located in the Passeio Publico de Lisboa, nowadays Avenida da Liberdade).
