Snowy Squabble-4696 - a photo on Flickriver

            These Snowy Egrets took their disagreement outside, or in bird terms, up in the air.  I’ve seen a variety of birds do this, Cattle Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Palm Warblers, Purple Martins just by way of example.  It sometimes comes to blows but usually not.  Generally the whole episode lasts a couple of seconds, making it a real treat to be able to get some shots off.     (Egretta thula) (Sony a1, 200-600 @ 295mm, f/5.6, 1/8000 second, ISO 500)
