Hurricane Shoals Abstract - a photo on Flickriver

            The great thing about nature photography is that you can find conditions you really like -- golden reflections  and moving water -- but if there is just no way to put them together in a decent composition you just go ahead and take the shot and call it an abstract.  So I did.  We all take pictures sometimes that appeal to us for reasons that are not entirely clear, when deep down we know they are really nothing special.  This is one of mine.  I almost hit the "delete" button but just couldn't do it.
