T 792 in Station Approach, Dorking - a photo on Flickriver

            On Sunday 28th March 2022 the vintage Country Bus running day focused on the pleasant Surrey town of Dorking took place, with this running day originally planned to take place in March 2020 but was cancelled (along with many other bus rallies and running days in 2020) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thankfully the Dorking running day was rescheduled in March 2022 and in this view the London Transport Museum's preserved AEC Regal single-decker T 792 dating from 1949 is seen parked up in Station Approach in Dorking opposite the Lincoln Arms Hotel where I stayed over the night before, with T 792 eventually getting to work on former LT Country Area route 425 down to the pleasant Surrey village of Shere later in the morning.
