RML 2280 at Victoria bus station - a photo on Flickriver

            Back in 2005 Arriva London North's RML 2280 was just another member of Clapton (CT) bus garage's Routemaster fleet in service on route 38 but this everyday scene taken at Victoria bus station on the morning of Friday 28th October 2005 would soon become confined to history when route 38 would go over from crew-operated Routemasters to OPO operated Mercedes Citaro bendybuses the following day. Upon its last major overhaul at Aldenham Works RML 2280 received the former body from RML 2357. Back in the early 2000s route 38 had a peak vehicle requirement (PVR) of 50 buses on weekdays compared to a PVR of 55 buses on route 73 on weekdays.
