700 041 west of Wimbledon - a photo on Flickriver

            700 041 clatters its way over the points at Wimbledon West Junction where there is a useful connection between the Wimbledon to Sutton line and the LSWR main line at this point. On the right of the photo is the site of the former Wimbledon West Yard, which back in the early 1980s was notorious for storing condemned fleets of class 405 (4 SUB) slam-door EMUs prior to the units being hauled by a class 33 or a class 73 locomotive to Eastleigh Yard for scrapping.
