            I would much prefer to be outside climbing, but instead I'm sipping coffee and reading the latest issue of climbing. Not a total waste of Saturday morning given that this issue has an excellent article on Devil's Lake and a pretty sweet photo of local climber and climbing gym manager Nick Rhoads leading what looks like a fantastic 5.10c. I did a few onsight leads when I first moved here last year in the 5.4 to 5.6 range and they scared the hell out of me.... 

This is the third issue of climbing in the last 6 months to do an article on an area that I actually climb at (Malibu Creek State Park and Stoney Point each being featured back in Sept and Oct). It's always awesome to see locations and routes that aren't Yosemite or 5.15's in Spain get some coverage.
