HSL-Zuid (Netherlands) - a photo on Flickriver

            HSL-Zuid (LGV Sud / High Speed Line South) 
The one and only highspeed line in the Netherlands is after years of construction not yet open due to problems with the traffic security systems. This secutiry system is built by Siemens in Germany, I mention this just for the record. 
Picture is taken somewhere near the village Rijpwetering where the line runs next to the A4 highway. 
The line is sceduled to be in operation in December 2008 for both Thalys (Amstrerdam-Paris) and Intercities (Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Breda/Brussels).  

NOTE: HSL-line will not be in operation before the end of 2010 (update February 2009)
