The Black Canyon in Silhouette During a Sunset (Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park)

            An image capture looking to the northwest at Sunset View in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The sun was nearing the actual time for sunset. I exposed the image such that I would not blow any highlights and be able to keep those warm colors later in post-production when I knew that I could also work on those areas in shadows. But as I started looking at the image, I realized I had an opportunity to keep most of the landscape to my front and the national park in silhouette. That's what I wound up doing making minor adjustments in DxO PhotoLab 3 for the final image.
