Om Beach, Gokarna

            Om Beach is a beach on the Arabian Sea in the little town of Gokarna in the state of Karnataka , India.It is called Om Beach because its shape resembles the Hindu religious symbol Om.
We were not staying in Gokarna but were on our way from the port town of Karwar on the western coast of India to the city of Mangalore further along the coast and only had half an hour to spare.Unfortunately when we reached the beach at around 10 a.m the sun was already quite high in the sky and I had to be satisfied with this shot.
Gokarna is only around 3-4 hours south of Goa and many people who wish to avoid the crowds of Goa go to Gokarna instead.

I hope my friends are all doing well.

We have just returned from a road trip of approx.3200 kms covering the states of Kerala and Karnataka in southern India. It was a great trip and I have some good photos to share of my Beautiful India.:-)
