Vermilion Flycatcher in Flight 9758 - a photo on Flickriver

            One of my favorite parks is known for its showy Vermlion Flycatchers, but it's always a good day when I see one. Today I saw two - a boy and his girlfriend. What a joy. When they hunt, they do a quick dart from their branch of choice and then back, if you're lucky. I've never managed an in-flight image of that move though - way to fast. Here, he was flying high, in what could be described as a broad circle, or back and forth between a couple of trees. I think maybe he was showing off for his sweetie, and I could actually stay with him. Wheeeeeeeeee.
