Great Blue Heron with Catch 1365 - a photo on Flickriver

            Any photographer with a collection of lenses knows the longer focal lengths are generally still not enough. Except on the rare occasion when they're too much. I was photographing a diminutive pied-billed grebe out on the pond when I hear "SPLAT" to my left. Check it out - Great Blue Heron stabbed a trout.

Actually, I was culling for space on the hard drive and came across this beginning of a mini mini series that never got posted. See those white blobs in the background? "Stay tuned".😎
