Bury Tomorrow First Edit Test - a photo on Flickriver

I've been looking at his awesome photos for a quite a while and that was when I first saw the BMTH shoot (I am a bit obsessed with BMTH but thats for another website) and he decided to let people download the RAW file and see how people would edit it using there own methods. The edit and link to original is below, plus if you attempt to edit it yourself let him know!

Okay so havent had a go at editing something yet even on my own promo I did for the first time (on Fortworth) was just a preset in a lightroom plug-in. But I've been learning a few techinques over the last couple of days so I had a go.

Just spent 20 mins on it. I really like how the processing on the jeans how it looks on his edit, which I think I know how to but cant do it in PSE 7.0 and I coudn't tweak the RAW file because it wouldn't open so I did it all from a JPEG file.

It's not as good as his edit but like he said its a learning experience and I've never used PS for anything other than B/W and resizing lol.
