            Fourteen years later, I'm in the same spot I was when I took this shot of Micki. 

Back then, it was weird to ask to take someone's picture, because who did such a thing. 

Now it's weird, because everyone does such a thing for money/clout, so what do you mean you do it just for fun. 

Funny ol' world. 

One things makes me smile: thinking, "what would I do different with this shot?" 

NOTHING. I WAS MAKING MAGIC, EVEN BACK THEN!

It's weird! I've been taking photos for so long, it feels so weird, now. "Oh, fourteen years ago..." What! That's crazy! Look at some of the earlier Micki photos I posted, I was just a big goofball, writing all kinds of wackiness. I did a whole post about her clavicle! 

I would write early in the morning, late at night, back then I was still driving an ambulance, writing while my girlfriend watched tv in the other room. My little den, where I typed away on the internet, making plans with strangers. 

I've never gotten over the uncanny vibe of it, and I hope I never will.
