Great Central Railway Gala Swithland Leicestershire 7th October 2012

            Shrouded in morning mist and steam, British Railways Standard 2 2-6-0 78019 & LMS Fowler Jinty 0-6-0T 47406 draw out of Swithland Sidings onto the Up Main with a Windcutter minerals train. Wet rails, 19 vehicles & a tightly curved siding meant the 2 was slipping and sliding its way out. Liam the fireman on 47406 keeps a look out for the section signal lost in the fog.
