Verdun Lorraine France 19th December 1969

            The semaphore signal has been pulled off and SNCF 140C 2-8-0 140C246 backs past prior to dropping down into Verdun station to pick up its cement train.

HDR has certainly helped bring out a bit more detail on the locomotive and balance the highlights. Still it's a pity I didn't realise in 1969 that you had to adjust the exposure for the snow effect. The blowing safety valve helps though.
