Takoyaki in the Making - a photo on Flickriver

            Cooking takoyaki isn't as easy as many people think. There are quite a lot of steps; in addition, you have to monitor so that each takoyaki is cooked properly. 

Couple of key ingredients for takoyaki are tako (octopus), takoyaki sauces, mayo, and katsuobushi (bonito flakes). Each store has its own secret recipe which can taste very different from one place or another. My rule of choosing which store is good is to see if that store has any lineup. Long lineup usually means that place is good :)
