This little lamb has wandered - a photo on Flickriver

            This little lamb has wandered to the waters edge - not very appropriate.  Its mother was calling to it to come away as we approached but it just didn't seem to listen.  [There are lots of children like that too.] The other lambs were being normal and frolicking around the grassy bank and in amongst the trees.  But this little lamb was definitely different.  
I noticed that the farmer has painted a number 7 on its side.  It looks a bit like a question mark also.  Like it is asking “what am I?”  and saying “I don't fit in here - might just swim out into the lake.”  
I wanted to say to the lamb - in sheep language of course - that it was a loved little lamb and would grow up to be a fine sheep one day.  Unfortunately I don't speak sheep so I wasn't much help.
