XP-G mounting - 004 - a photo on Flickriver

            you are looking at the bottom of the LED.  The electrical contacts are on the right and left.  The center contact is actually not connected to anything, and is just structural/thermal in nature.  The LED will be soldered to the copper by means of the center contact.  The notches cut in the copper will prevent the copper from contacting the LED's electrical contacts.
