Saint Basil's Cathedral, Moscow - a photo on Flickriver

            This quaint, colourful and beautiful Church is officiall known as 'Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat'. This is not, unlike many famous Churches in present Russia, an active one in that there are no regular services nor a congregation. It is used as a museum now. Built over 16th and 17th Centuries, the first of the ten church was built over the grave of  local saint Vasily (Basil or Beselios)
