Seville - Guadalquivir River & Torre Cajasol Tower

            "The Seville Tower was known until 2015 as Cajasol Tower (built as Cajasol's headquarters, and was, at the time the tallest building in Andalusia and the city of Seville) or Pelli Tower. Its construction started in March 2008. It is built out of ceramic tile and glass, which gives it a unique look, meant to reflect the intense Spanish sun. 

It is situated near the river and Plaza de Armes. 

Note: UNESCO was considering putting Seville's World Heritage Sites (the Cathedral, Alcazar and Archivo de Indias) into the "Threatened List", because of the tower's “negative visual impact” on the old town skyline of Seville. This did not happen in the end." (taken from a review on tripadvisor)
