2/52 - Frost - a photo on Flickriver

2/52 - Frost

            Captured using my Sigma 18-50mm which can capture some decent close up images.
The sun was coming up over the horizon so had to move quickly to try and capture the frost extending off the twig. Have to admit found it difficult to try and get the right setting to balance the range of white areas from the frost and the remaining image was difficult to capture took a few images at various setting until I was happy with this one. Captured at f10 1/4sec, as the twig I wanted to shot was low on the ground I had to crawl into the shrubs and use my elbows as a bipod to steady the camera to try and get a sharp image especially shooting at 1/4 sec.
