The Valiant Cornish Centurion - a photo on Flickriver

Returning from Bugle we see 50015 'Valiant' in Dutch livery (with 50008 'Thunderer' at the rear) approaching Middleway Crossing with the Bugle – Plymouth leg of the 'Cornish Centurion' railtour on Saturday 26th January 1991. The train ran as 1Z16 throughout, more details can be found here: www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/. The weather wasn't great, the memories of the day thirty years ago are.
