Day 175/365 (6-24-09) : Revisited - a photo on Flickriver

            I set out today to get this shot specifically.  Its about a 2 mile hike to the spot.  Through woods, fields and swamps.  All filled with mosquitoes and ticks. But when I got there the grass was much higher then when i saw it in 2004.  At first i wondered about trying to get it just right but the 100mm and 50mm were not working.  It took me about 20 min to remember i had the 14-55mm with me.  I think sometimes you go out with an idea in your head.  Of the picture, the camera and lense you will use ect and forget when you get there to really see the shot ... to think outside the image you had in your head when you set out.  The first time i found this was after being lost in the woods for about 4 hours ... i had accidentally taken the 5 mile trail .. this time i had the GPS with and marked the trail every time it split to prevent another adventure.
