Tanfield Railway - a photo on Flickriver

Tanfield Railway

The Tanfield Railway, which is claimed to be the oldest railway in the world, is a standard gauge heritage railway in County Durham, England. Running on part of a former colliery wooden wagonway, later a steam railway, it operates preserved industrial diesel and steam tank locomotives. The line runs for three miles between a southern terminus at East Tanfield and a northern terminus at Sunniside, with the main station, Andrews House, situated near to the Marley Hill engine shed. A halt also serves the historic site of Causey Arch.

I hesitated over uploading this shot because its composition is almost identical to this earlier effort...

In the end, I thought that this latest shot has a little more quality to it, having been taken under better lighting conditions... and with better gear!
