We Went for a Walk

            I meant to post this yesterday....

On Valentine's day in 2017 Joan and I decided to explore Bennett Park in Charlotte. I'd been aware of the park more or less forever--it's just south of the fairgrounds, where I attend bluegrass festivals, and I'd photographed the old courthouse that's on the edge of the park. But I'd never set foot in the park, proper.

It was a good walk in a park that's mostly a forest. Much of the venture looked about like this.
