Napoleonic complex - a photo on Flickriver

Napoleonic complex

            While visiting Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks a few weeks ago, several multi-species interactions were noted. Once we entered the treelined swamp area, most notably it was a mosquito to human interaction that became our number one point of concern.

In this shot, a Greater White-fronted Goose sends a Sandhill Crane on its way as it expresses a “I’m walking here” (Midnight Cowboy reference) attitude.
