The Onibury Oak - a photo on Flickriver

The Onibury Oak

            67015 pushes set HD01 on 1W57, the 10.52 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly on Saturday 25.11.23. The train has just crossed the River Onny at Onibury, between Ludlow and Craven Arms.

Following on from a two day 1Z10 trip to The Marches, I stayed overnight in Ludlow as usual, and made my way home on Saturday afternoon. I managed to photograph a steam charter in the morning, but decided to come here in the afternoon for this loco hauled (or pushed!( working. It was one of the locations we discussed, but didn't manage on the previous day, so it was good to drop by and "tick it off".
