2017-10-19 1320 RJC 7084 on RJC-2 Clymer, PA

            Bill Kalkman and I embarked on a 9 day trip through central Pennsylvania and upstate New York in search of fall foliage, standard cab EMDs, and Alcos. Gevos were not on the menu, though we may have seen one I couldn't bring myself to save the photo. We planned on visiting the RJ Corman, Finger Lakes Railway, Bath & Hammondsport, Susquehanna, WNY&P, and Lycoming Valley. We pretty much stuck to our plan but ended up skipping the B&H due to lack of activity and adding a second day on the Finger Lakes.

Day 1 - RJ Corman. We arrived in Clearfield late morning 10/19. Already having our hotel reservation - essential on Penn State football weekends - we headed for the yard and found a coal train was loading at Clymer and a "corn train" was called for 2:30. We headed for Clymer and got a few shots of it sitting. It would be awhile before it left so we decided to double back and catch the corn train and follow it toward Cresson. Our first and only really bad call of the week.
