Recently opened as part of Phase II is the Stumpery. It's basically a jumble of big logs, stumps and branches. In fact, while I was poking around, a woman came up and harumphed that Cantigny hadn't cleared out a fallen tree. I had to explain to her that this was a new garden and that the logs had been placed there.

It has some unique flowers and plants along with promising fungi. And texture in abundance.

And, unlike most of the garden I hang out in, a fair amount of bugs. But it is VERY cool. And (aside from the bugs) my new favorite place. ;-)
