37417 Plockton

            In late June 1986 I decided to take a trip up to the Kyle line - I chose well , the weather was glorious for both days. On the Sunday morning I noticed that the service loco, 37417, and some ballast stock was absent - terrific, an opportunity to record a non-passenger working on the Kyle line. Not trusting the Galloway luck to venture down the line in search of the working, I decided to make camp at a rock a few hundred yards from Plockton station overlooking the bay expecting my prey to turn up in short time. 4 hours later.... 

Life in the Highlands has it's own pace, and its all the better for it.
