With my 1978 White Road Commander 18 wheeler sitting behind me, I captured this shot on a back haul run from Baldwin Park, CA to Baytown Texas. The Worlds Fair Daylight with 4-8-4 SP 4449 was here for the weekend. The SP cops escorted me around to get a good many night shots, then they told me if I wanted to jump in my bunk for the night, they will keep an eye on things, since the area wasn't all that safe, even back in 1984.
