Wisconsin Farm 4---Out In The Open - a photo on Flickriver

            Recently I have begun to see the beauty in these old or deceased farms around here in central Wisconsin.  I like to use a telephoto lens to make the capture.  The trees, the house, the out-buildings(and how they arranged them) intriguing.  What is the story of the original farmers?  Who owns it now?  Notice how the house was built on the highest point.

I used my Pentax K7 and Pentax 55-300mm lens to make the capture.  Aperture 3,  Photoshop CS5, and Topaz Adjust 4 were all used in the processing.  

Camera settings:  ISO 400, aperture f/8, shutter, 1/500, focal length  107.5mm
