Eyes Wide Open: Long-Eared Owls - a photo on Flickriver

            One owl is smaller than the other.  I believe the smaller one is a male.  We found about seven or eight of these long-eared owls roosting in a small patch of brush, trying to get some sleep.  We made our images and left in a short time.
