Juv Goshawk - a photo on Flickriver

Juv Goshawk

            Taken on a trip to Berlin earlier this week.Got up at 0530 and a brisk 30 min walk to a park where I knew they breed. Saw a  bird that I thought was a Gos, saw her a couple of times briefly and then tracked her down by her food begging cries. Missed the adults doing the food pass but managed a few shots of her feeding in the canopy. All shots hand held with 100-400 is.
Such an awesome raptor, you have no idea how big until you see one in the flesh. Will def be going back next spring/summer to see if i can get some more- might even manage a winter trip to see my daughter who is living out there.
