Echeveria 'Hummel #1' - a photo on Flickriver

Years ago, I did some volunteer work for the Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek - creating their first logo drawing. I photographed the garden for inspiration. Mrs. Bancroft was busy coming and going while I was doing this and we naturally got talking about various plants. Whenever I expressed even mild interest in a plant, she would reach down and pull a piece out of the ground and hand it to me!

This is one of those plants. Don't be fooled by the apparent scale - the pot is very large (12+in, 32cm) and the largest heads are 8-10 inches (20-25cm) across. They can get so big and heavy as to pull the pot over! (this pot was just replanted as the plant regularly become a bit 'leggy', hanging off the pot edge) The leaves have a delicate white bloom on them that I am also careful not to touch (it comes off immediately). The flowers are much large than most Echeveria flowers. Clearly a hybrid involving E. 'Imbricata' or E. secunda, but which?
