            German type H669 bunker of WN62 - Omaha Beach, Normandy.

This H669 type bunker is one of the main defensive positions of the infamous WN62 ("Widerstandsnest 62") which guarded the "Easy 3 exit" near Colleville-sur-Mer. It lies in the "Easy Red" sector which was one of the bloodiest sectors during the early hours of june 6, 1944 - D-Day.
