Hartelkering near Spijkenisse: yearly test

This image shows one of the sections of the Hartelkering (storm surge barrier), Here it is lowered during the yearly test. Normally it is only lowered to stop the inflow of seawater during storms. The section shown is 100 m wide.

This image was taken by a camera lifted by a kite (GoPro, Triton, Balsa rig). There was almost no wind. The image was undistorted with Hugin (fish-eye to cylindrical projection)
