Green Tree Snake - a photo on Flickriver

Green Tree Snake

            This beautiful creature with big bright eyes was in our lounge room.  After a photo session inside, we took it outside for some more photographs.  When it had enough of 
that it slid around my daughter's neck onto her head and escaped into the branches above her.  Green Tree Snakes are non venomous and when threatened flatten their head and expand their scales to show the blue colour between them to startle their enemy.
