Woodhouse Tower 1 - a photo on Flickriver

Woodhouse Tower 1

            Three late 16th century towers lie close together in the valley of Kirtle Water: Woodhouse, Bonshaw and Robgill, each in a very different state of preservation. Bonshaw retains much of its original appearance, Robgill has been so altered over the years that no outward sign of the original tower is visible, while Woodhouse was partially restored in 1877 to the picturesque ruin shown.
