Pretty Blue Beach Box - a photo on Flickriver

I took a morning walk on the Dromana Foreshore to stretch the legs, get some fresh air, and check out the beach boxes. I found myself really drawn to this pretty blue one. I recently bought the Sony "FE 20-70mm F4 G" (on sale) as it's lighter and more compact than my previous 24-105mm f/4, and this was one of my first outings with it. For me, gaining that extra 4mm on the wide end more than compensates for losing the 35mm on the long end, as usually when I shoot long, I find that 105mm is not long enough and I reach for the 70-300 anyway. But when you're at 24mm and want that little bit more width - this can do it (as can be seen here, shot at 20mm, albeit cropped in a little).

It fills the gap nicely between my Sony "FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G" and my Sony "FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G OSS" - my current go-to trio of landscape lenses. It's pretty handy that they all have 72mm filter threads, meaning I can use the same screw-in filters on all of them. The colours and sharpness of this lens are outstanding. Needless to say, I'm really happy with it! Due to its prime-like sharpness, it'll also be my go-to lens for vertical pano stitching. Enjoy.
