Jurassic Park Raptor #1 - a photo on Flickriver

                        This was originally raptor Echo, from the Jurassic World line. I fixed all her limbs and filled the gaps, so it doesn't look like a toy anymore but rather a statue. I also added the killer claws on her feet (for some reason Hasbro decided not to include this signature feature) and sharpened the rest of her claws to match them.

Now, the most important part here is the paint job. I made this into a Jurassic Park Velociraptor simply because I've always wanted to paint one and I just love the color scheme. I used several promo shots from 1993 and screenshots from the movie, because I wanted it to look just the way it looked on the screen (and the way we all remember). There are several layers and tones of each color and it was clear coated for a shiny reptilian look (I know they are not reptiles, but they look kind of wet and shiny in the movie)
