lulling steady

some days i know just what tone and energy an image should have, and i can narrow down my edits until i get just what i'm after. other days, every decision feels arbitrary, and when asked how should this be? i can only answer that i don't know. this frustrates those who expect a decisive answer today, just because i had one yesterday. and increasingly, i'm learning to not feel guilty about this.

and to that i might add, that blessed are they who offer praise and encouragement, without demands and expectations (and by this i mean all of you who have taken the time to read this far. :)
