'Silver Service' Reo Pullman @ Darley Dale

            An old amateur photograph (just 3" x 2") of 'Silver Service' coach registration RA6505, fleet No. 5. The company was owned by J. H. Wooliscroft and Sons of Darley Dale, near Matlock, Derbyshire.

The photo reverse is annotated with "Hackney Depot, Darley Dale".

Silver Service RA6505 comprised a Reo Pullman chassis and a Willowbrook body seating 25 (C25F). I have no fleet list so do not know about and previous owners, its further use, or when scrapped. I did find a reference to it being rebodied by Willowbrook in c1947 (this photo is the 2nd body), and that it was still in service in the 1960s.
