Moth Nookie

            Last summer I was delighted to find a Lime Hawk Moth, newly emerged, clinging to the top of a fence post at the end of my garden.  I kept watch, fearing that it might be picked off by some passing bird, for whom it would have made a substantial meal.
About the third time I went down for a look-see, there it was ...already on the job with a moth of the opposite gender (I don't know which is which).  This, of course, was before it had even finished drying and inflating its wings, let alone flown.
