Ruinas de la salinas / Ruins of saline

            La salina en Lanzarote conjuga agricultura y mar, naturaleza y hombre, su estructura incorporó elementos constructivos de la cultura agrícola local, muros de piedra negra, terrazas.
Los molinos, que son los encargados de captar el agua de mar, a través de un pozo y luego la elevaban a los cocederos, que son balsas de relativo tamaño con el fondo de barro, donde progresivamente se va concentrando el agua antes de pasarla a los tajos, que son los cuadrados de pequeño tamaño con fondo de barro, en donde se cristaliza la sal. En la foto, ruinas de la casa y del molino de agua marina que la impulsaba.
The salt in Lanzarote combines agriculture and sea, nature and man, constructive structure incorporated elements of local farming culture, black stone walls, terraces.
