Cirque du Lune. 112/365 - a photo on Flickriver

            Top evenings madness in the hills off the Snake Pass with my mate Paul.  I don't think I've ever smiled so much shooting and looking at a light painting shot as I have with this one.  Theres something about it that makes me happy.
This wasn't the shot I had planned.  I was after a star trail behind the dome tent but it didn't get dark enough till about half nine and I have work early doors.  So a change of plan and perspective.  I wish I'd have got into position earlier as the sunset was the reddest I've seen in a long time.
Shutter open, crawled in the tent to spin the dome.  Crawled back out and lit the scene with the lenser.
