Our Lady of Sorrows - a photo on Flickriver

            She's very close to finished.  Just minor cleanup here and there.  I've decided to stop here because this is always how I envisioned her.
I bought this statue over two years ago when I left my baby at Texas A&M for the first time.  I stared at the statue for a whole year, and then after I dropped my son off for his second year at school, I started working on her.  And then I got stalled.  This year, after my son left for his third year, I decided it was time to finish her.  I've been working on her steadily since August.  Finally, there's not much left to do except find her permanent home.  
She took a very long time to do, and it was a lot more work than I thought it would be when I started, but she was a joy to work on from start to finish and I never minded the time it took.
