            Last year I had found a Stormcloak tunic in the forest. I don't know who had thrown it there, but I had taken it home with me, because it was good fabric, from which I could perhaps tailor something. I put it in a chest where I forgot it. The Stormcloaks are rebels fighting the Imperial Legions. In our area there are not many, but in other parts of the country fierce battles take place again and again.

When the costume party was about to take place, it occurred to me again and I decided to dress up as Stormcloak. The tunic had belonged to a woman who was bustier than me. I am very tiny and so I stuffed some undergarments into the tunic. When I looked into the mirror I saw a full-bosomed Gwendolina which made me feel a grown-up woman.

Next morning I waited until all the boys and girls of our village had departed before I left. I knew a shortcut through the forest. Although I was the youngest of the girls I was not afraid to walk alone. I was already looking forward to the surprised faces if suddenly I appeared as Stormcloak!
