            Fooling around in the yard with open aperture/minimum distance. The all mechanical Bronicas' claim to fame is that, besides the fantastic Nikkor lenses they were equipped with and the noise level of their shutter mechanism, they place the lens much closer to the film plane than any other medium format slr camera because of the design of the mirror which ramps down and forward when the shutter button is pressed, rather than the mirror levering upward from a rear mounted pivot. This allows for a much closer focus than other 6x6 slrs and to my eye almost looks like a photo taken with macro tubes. For this I set the lens at minimum focus distance and found a subject that fit.
